gotta Home Now!!!
My new owner says I have a new name
"..because she was now going to
be treated like royalty!"
Princess Lucy here. You probably remember me just as Lucy. But Dad
thought I was Royalty so he named me Princess Lucy.
Dad said we came home the long way down Rt 6. All I know it was
a long Ride. But I enjoyed myself. I stuck my head out all the windows,
Sat by dad laid on the floor. We stopped once so I could take a
walk and do my business. There was this Giant water bowl that had
little things floating in it. Dad said it was Lake Erie and the
floating stuff were boats. All I know it was more water then I can
drink in a life time.
After we got home I checked out the yard and house they are great.
Then I jumped up on Dad's bead. It is really conformable so now
it is my safe place. Dad must be a dirty old man because he now
tells all his friends that he has a pretty girl in bed with him.
I also like getting in his lap when he sets in a chair and going
to sleep. He enjoys that too. Dad also takes me for rides in the
truck and people keep handing out these good smelling bags of stuff?
We also go for Walks and meat friendly people who like me.
Yesterday I met My new Doctor,she was nice. Doct Lori said I am
a healthy girl. She gave me a shot for kennel cough and inserted
a chip so If I ever get lost I can get home to Dad.
Then last night Dad sent sent off for my dog tags and put all my
paperwork in his filings cabinet so now I know I have a FOREVER
HOME.
Dad is always petting me when he walks by me and he talks to me
all the time.
Dad also wanted me to thank Jessica for being so kind to me and
teaching me that people are ok.

Lucy is a beautiful 6 year old Peke who was recently rescued from
a puppy mill. She is doing beautifully in her foster home and is
learning to trust people more and more every day. She does great
with other animals and has already learned to go potty outside!
What a smart girl!
