UPDATE: Thank you for your interest in the Persian cats and kittens.  Kittens will be available  after alterations on December 16th, and adults available after January 7th.
Once your application is approved, you will be scheduled to come look at the cats/ kittens AFTER they are altered . At that time, you can meet them and complete the adoption. Cats are $400 and kittens are $500, and all will be completely vetted.
PLEASE NOTE: In regards to your vet reference; we have stringent requirements for the vet reference. The requirements are as follows and are non negotiable:
All companion animals in the home must be altered and seen by a licensed veterinarian YEARLY. Cats must receive appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP) and Rabies. If your cats are not vaccinated, there must be a medical reason why. Dogs must also be up to date on DHPP and Rabies vaccine, and be heart worm tested yearly as well as treated with a monthly heart worm preventative.
If you apply and your vet reference does not meet our criteria, you will be denied.

Describe your ideal cat:

Do you understand that Marilyn’s Voice requires this cat to be spayed or neutered?*

Do you agree to contact Marilyn’s Voice if you can no longer keep this cat?*

Would you be willing to allow someone designated by Marilyn’s Voice to visit your home by appointment?*

18 Years of Age or Older

Marilyn’s Voice does ask an adoption fee in order to help us cover expenses incurred. Prices on different dogs may vary depending on age and veterinary expenses we have incurred. Please contact your local representative if you have any questions.

All of the above information I have given is true and complete. Should an unneutered or unspayed cat be placed with me, I agree to have it neutered or spayed by such date agreed upon by me and a Marilyn’s Voice representative. At that time, I will forward evidence to Marilyn’s Voice that such procedure has been completed.

This cat will reside in my home as a pet. I will provide it with adequate food, water, shelter, training, affection, and medical care. I understand that Marilyn’s Voice cats are rescues, and that the cats available for adoption may have habits, temperament, or physical conditions not yet known at the time I adopt that cat. While all Marilyn’s Voice cats have seen a vet, some issues surface later and I understand that it is my responsibility to evaluate the cat for myself before agreeing to adopt it. I am in full agreement with these terms of adoption. Marilyn’s Voice shall not be liable for, and is hereby relieved from, all liability for any damage, expenses, causes of action, fines, suits, demands, judgments or claims of any nature whatsoever arising from or by reason of any damage to property or injury to any persons caused in whole or in part by the cat placed in your home. I hereby accept and assume such liability and agree to protect, indemnify and hold Marilyn’s Voice harmless from and against all of the aforesaid. Submitting this form constitutes your permission for us to check references.

I have read the disclaimer and agree to these terms & conditions*

Marilyn's Voice strives to give each and every animal taken into our rescue a %100 chance at rehabilitation which includes costly vet visits and surgeries. Each animal is altered, vaccinated, tested for FIV and feline leukemia (cats) and heartworm (dogs).  In addition, if an animal needs surgery or specialty care, he or she receives it.

Our vet bills average $50,000+/year. We survive on donations and adoption fees and for this reason,  we are unable to discount our fees. Thank you for understanding.
